‘Work For Love’
Picked this record up a year or so ago and, although they were from Chicago, I included it in my New York club mix. Ministry started out as a new wave synthpop band, influenced by the UK sound (with the lead singer going as far as faking an English accent). Came across this video today of them performing this song at First Avenue in Minneapolis in 1983 (around the time that Purple Rain was being filmed there).
